D.C. Madam Phone Records Released
Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the accused “D.C. Madam,” released hundreds of pages of phone records on her website, alleging that the documents already surfaced online and wanted to prevent misinformation.
Originally, Palfrey attempted to bind recipients to a set of terms and conditions that prohibited persons in releasing specific information. Last week, I contacted Palfrey and agreed to these conditions. However, it seems that Palfrey and her civil attorney, Montgomery Sibley, fear that these files are already on the web.
Stay tuned as people begin to sift and cross reference phone numbers for high-profile clients.
[Updated 07/10/07, 8:30pm] After obtaining permission via e-mail from Deborah Jeane Palfrey, you may download the files here.

siren song
Consumerist made a lovely google map with the madam’s most frequently called hotels pinned…
“One of the venues, a Holiday Inn, is only 3 blocks from the White House. There seems to be a confluence of activity in and around the K Street area, where lobbyists, advocacy groups and think tanks have their offices.”
Lobbyists and sex scandals? There’s a shocker.
