Henson Speaks About Volunteering for Clinton in Iowa

The New York Post has more on James Henson, the former Iowa supporter of Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) that was driven into the arms of Senator Barack Obama’s (D-Illinois) campaign following an unforgettable experience as a volunteer.
Henson said he decided to join Clinton’s camp as a volunteer in mid-July. He admitted that he had applied for a job with the same campaign in April but was turned down.
He felt unwelcome from Day 1. “It was like I was a nuisance or something.”
Henson said volunteers were in tears, “probably from the abuse they were taking” from higher-ups.
One day, his back went out. He was told he could lie on the floor and make calls. But shortly, a worker screamed at him to get up.
“She didn’t ask why I was on the floor or what I was doing,” he said. “I don’t think she cared.”
