President Bill Clinton Receives Thunderous, Extended Applause
Former President Bill Clinton received an extended, thunderous applause from the assembled delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. The applause felt like it would never end as thousands of American flags waved boisterously before the former president delivered his remarks, including one-liners eviscerating the failed leadership of President George W. Bush and the promise of Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) to continue them.
